Day 01: Delhi (Arrival)
Meet our representative at Delhi Airport/Railway Station and transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 02: Delhi (sightseeing) – Gaya departure
After Early breakfast, go out for full day sightseeingÂ tour of Old Delhi. The places you will visit here include Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat and Humayun’s Tomb. In the afternoon, after lunch, explore the attractions in New Delhi such as India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, President House and Qutab Minar. Later, you will be transferred to the New Delhi Railway Station to board train to Gaya(990 kms approx, 14 hrs). Overnight on board the train.
Day 03: Arrival Gaya – Bodhgaya :
Early morning, arrive in Gaya from Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. After relaxing for some time, go out on a sightseeing tourÂ of Bodhgaya-where the Lord Bhudda attained Enlightenment under the Bhodi tree. The magnificent Mahabodhi Temple in Bhodgaya is an architectural amalgam of Many Centuries, cultures and Heritages. Post sightseeing, return back to the hotel for night stay.
Day 04: Bodhgaya – Rajgir – Nalanda â€“ Patna (3 Â½ hrs, 175 Aprox)
After Check out from Hotel, leave by road for Patna. One of the oldest inhabited cities in the world, Patna is the capital of Bihar. On the way, visit Rajgir (01hr 30 mins,77 kms via NH 82). The Lord Budha often came here to retreat at the Jivkamaravana monastery in a beautiful orchid.
Also Visit Nalanda(14 kms from Rajgir,30 mins) and explore the ruins of Indiaâ€™s ancient university. Upon arrival in Patna, check into the hotel. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 05: Patna – Vaishali – Kushinagar
Post breakfast in the morning, leave by road for Kushinagar. On the way, visit Vaishali(31 kms, 45 mins), named after a historic king Vishal who ruled here. Lord Budha delivered his last sermon here and announced his impending â€œNirvanaâ€. Then reach Kushinagar (231 kms from Vaishali, 3 Â½ Hrs) is the place where Lord Buddha breathed his last. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Kushinagar â€“ Lumbini (141 Kms, 3 hrs)
Post breakfast in the morning; go out on a sightseeing tour of Kushinagar. The attractions you will visit here include the Mahaparinirvana Temple and the Mukutbandhan Stupa. Later, leave by road for Lumbini. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for night stay.
Day 07: Lumbini â€“ Sravasti(170 Kms, 3hrs)
Today, after breakfast, go out for a sightseeing tour of Lumbini. Lumbini is famous as the birth place of Lord Buddha. The places you will visit here include Ashokan Pillar, Lumbini Museum, Japan Peace Pagoda and the Dharma Swami Maharaja Buddha Temple. Later, leave by road for Sravasti. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 08: Sravasti â€“ Varanasi (296 Kms, 5 hrs)
Post breakfast in the morning, visit the attractions in Sravasti. Here you will visit Angulimala Stupa, Anathapindika’s Stupa, Jetvana monastery and an old Jain temple.Â Later, leave by road for Varanasi. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. If you wish, you can go out and see the evening Ganga Aarti or relax in your room. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 09: Varanasi
Early morning, around 5 AM, visit the Ghats of Varanasi and enjoy a boat ride in the Ganges. Post breakfast, drive to Sarnath, a holy city located 10 kilometers away from Varanasi. Here you will visit the Dhamek Stupa, Dharmarajika Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Ashoka PillarÂ and Sarnath Archeological Museum. By afternoon, return back to Varanasi. The places you will visit here include The Vishwanath Temple, The Dugra Temple and The Benaras Hindu University. Later, return back to the hotel for night stay.
Day 10: Varanasi â€“ Delhi
The morning is free to relax. Later, you will be transferred to the Varanasi airport to board flight for Delhi.
